The dictionary explains evidence as meaning the data on which a judgment or proof can be based. Well the Bible gives us many proofs or data that can be found to this day. It is so evident (easily recognized, obvious) that we see it with our own eyes everyday. Well lets see what the Bible says about the evidence of God.

First lets look at Deuteronomy 4:15 it says You saw no form of any kind the day the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the fire. Thereafter watch yourself very carefully, so that you do not become corrupt and make for yourself an idol, an image of any shape, whether formed like a man or a woman, or like any animal on earth or any bird that flies in the air, Or like any creature that moves along the ground or any fish in the water below.

Verse 23 says Be careful not o forget the covenant of the Lord your God that he make with you; Do not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything the Lord your Good has forbidden. For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Now look at Psalms 19: 1 it says The heavens declare the glory of God; The skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; Night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.

Look at Psalms 33: 6 it says By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of his mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; He puts the deep into storehouses. Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the people of the world revere him. For he spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stand firm. The Lord foils the plans of the nations, he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.

Now look at Psalms 104: 10 it says He makes springs pour water into the ravines; It flows between the mountains. They give water to all the beasts of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst. The birds of the air nest by the waters; They sing among the branches. He waters the mountains from his upper chambers; The earth is satisfied by the fruit of his work. He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate-bringing forth food from the earth; Wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread that sustains his heart.

The trees of the Lord are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon that he planed. There the birds make their nests; The stork has its home in the pine trees. The high mountains belong to the wild goats; The crags are a refuge for the coneys. The moon marks off the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.

Look at Acts 1: 1 it says In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen . After his suffering, he showed himself to these men and brave many convincing proof the he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

Now look at Acts 14:21 it says They preached the good news in that city and won a large number of disciples. The they returned to Lystra, Iconium and Antioch, strengthening he disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. We must go through man hardships to enter the kingdom of God, they said.

Look at 1Thessalonians 3: 2 it says We sent Timothy, who is our brother and God's fellow worker in spreading the Gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith, so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. You know well well that we were destined for them.

Now look at 2 Timothy 3:12 it says In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from what you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

In closing look at John 16:33 it says I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

It's amazing how God's evidence is before us everyday and how we take it for granted. Well this I can say that His many proofs are showing us he spoke by His word. The moon marks off the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.

I can certainly say that I am very grateful for his word and the things He bought forth. Just on data alone we can see with our very eyes and believe, its so obvious. Thank you Jesus for your proofs.
